Air Wick Black Edition Multicolour Candle Review

>> Thursday, February 20, 2014

I was recently given the opportunity to tryout the new Air Wick Black Edition Multicolour Candle in the fragrance crackling fire and cinnamon spice. The candle comes in a black glass cup with a glass pattern window in the middle on either side which shine beautiful patterns all around the room once alight. The candle also produces a combination of colours once lighten something I was super excited to see. Upon lighting the candle I was in Ore at how pretty the colours were they instantly started turning from blue, green, purple, red etc and the patterns around the room looked stunning. Three minutes into burning the candle I was hit with a delicious scent that reminded me of warm apple pie, filling the room with a delicious aroma, the notes are a rich blend of cinnamon and nutmeg finished with sensual amber and warm woods. It's nice to see something so different in a candle, the colour changing effect  really adds that extra special touch while enjoying such a scrumptious fragrance.
Just a few of the gorgeous colours that the candle flickers

Remington Cordless Wet/Dry Epilator Review

>> Monday, December 2, 2013

Trying a epilator again has been on my beauty to do list for ages, I remember trying my grandmothers epilator when I was about 10 all I can think of is the pain I felt but as times have changed so has the technology and epilators are no longer as painful as they once were. I wont lie to you it definitely  still is a little painful but nothing to crazy. I've been using the Remington cordless wet/dry epilator all week and all I can say is I'm impressed. It was a little weird at first and quite intimidating due to the noise they make but as soon as it hit the skin i was like "what's all the fuss about this is fine", I had built myself up for mega amounts of pain but it ended up being okay. I tried my legs first the hair was quite short as the instructions mentioned you don't want hair that is to long and the great thing is the epilator can get rid of hair as small as 0.5mm. I first exfoliated my legs to get rid of any dead skin and than went on my way using the epilator, the light on the epilator comes in really handy when getting rid of those tiny hairs and there is two different speed settings for removing course or fine hair. And I love the fact that you can use it in the shower makes life so much easier. I had smooth and soft legs within minutes. After about 10minutes i noticed my legs had some tiny red dots so I applied the massaging cap with aloe vera which soothes and calms the skin I had read in the instructions that the redness is normal when first trying a epilator as your skin has just gone through some shock that's why the added aloe vera is so great the redness was completely gone by the next day. The epilator is perfect for wet and dry use it comes with 5 different caps including the epilator, shaver head, bikini comb and massaging cap with aloe vera it also includes a pair of exfoliating gloves along with a bag to store everything in.

Essence Stay With Me Long Lasting Lipgloss Review And Swatches

>> Monday, November 25, 2013

I'm a huge fan of the brand Essence I find all there products great and the prices are so affordable considering how expensive most of Australia's make up is. I got these Stay With Me long lasting lip glosses on sale at Target the other week for a measly $1.50 so I picked up all the colours they had available. The colours are bright and opaque only needing a light hand to reach full coverage and they feel like butter on the lips not sticky at all . As for long lasting they definitely last up to 2 hours on my lips with very little fading . The brush is really different on this one the first time I've ever seen one like this its in the shape of a hour glass I wouldn't say its the best brush in the world but nice to see something a little out of the ordinary. I was a little annoyed that the name of the colour isn't on the actual packaging I later realised it was on the barcode that you peel off to access the lip gloss I'm not sure if this is with all the glosses or just the few that I got. Overall for $1.50 you cant go wrong with most Essence products, if its hit or miss you haven't broken the bank.
