Do You Write Honest Reviews?
>> Thursday, May 27, 2010
so ladies I need some advice, opinions etc anything with what I'm about to type.As bloggers we are sometimes sent free samples or even request free samples from some companies now I think that's perfectly fine cause I personally have accepted samples and even requested samples on many occasions, some being fantastic products and others not being so great, and sometimes I have reviewed them on this blog and other times I have not.But what happens when you don't like something and you give it a more negative than positive review, whether its been sent to you by request or simply by the company offering and than the company lashes out at you? Do you think this is fair as bloggers should we keep our negative opinions to ourselves if the product has not been purchased with our money, or should we give it a 100percent positive review cause the product has been sent for free?I recently received some really negative feedback from a company after writing a review they didn't agree with, I was accused of 'backstabbing', recommending bad products, lying, having a blog with diminishing popularity, dishonest and the best one of all the company telling me 'Now they know why I'm not famous yet'! I coped that all in one email over one negative review.Ladies, followers I don't blog to be famous or to get rich,or to be popular I blog because I enjoy it,because its something I have a passion for, and having followers and ladies to talk to is a fantastic bonus which I also love. And every opinion I ever write on this blog is always going to be my OWN personal opinion I'm not about to lie to my readers or myself for some company that sent me something for free.So what do you think ladies should we keep our mouths shut or should we write what we honestly think of the product regardless of it being sent for free?

Liz Earle Mineral Sun Cream Perfect for those hot summer days!
>> Tuesday, May 25, 2010
As you all know im totally in LOVE with Liz Earle's Skin Care range so I thought I would do a little review on there New Mineral Sun Cream with SPF20. We all know how extremelly white I am so a sunscreen is a must when I go outside because I turn completely red and my face ends up looking like a perfect game of connect the dots(freckles grrr) sunburnt skin is not something I look foward to so having a great sunscreen is just what I need!Specially in Australia where majority of the time the sun is beaming.
Liz Earle's Mineral Sun Cream is extremelly light and dosnt have that really thick feeling that most sunscreens have, and it deffinately does not have that awful scent that ive come across in the past. Its packed full of shea butter, potent natural antioxidants pomegranate, green tea and vitamin E all in a sun screen, so your getting protection from the sun plus your skins being moisturized is that a bonus or what!
The mineral sun cream is great for the whole family including the ladies with sensitive skin, cause the cream is so light it wont break you out,you dont even notice you have it on.
" Our new, reformulated mineral sun cream works by bouncing the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays away from the skin, offering immediate SPF20 protection in a new, easy to apply formula."

So ladies is sunscreen apart of your daily routine?
Glitter gal Nookie & Your Chance to win your own bottle!/CLOSED
>> Friday, May 21, 2010
The team at Glitter Gal worked together with Nookie to create their very own nail polish colour complimenting the hues and theme of Nookie’s collection ‘Let Love Rule’. Working closely with Nikita, Anna Szabo and Kerry Howell, owners of Glitter Gal produced from their salon range, a limited edition colour named ‘NOOKIE METTALLIC’.
Anna Szabo of Glitter Gal says: “Having a custom blend nail polish shows true fashion innovation that extends to the finger tips and toes. Nail polish bridges the divide between fashion and beauty to the extent that careful consideration is given to what the colour of the nails should be for fashion shows – we believe that it is as important as making the decisions for hair and make up looks”.
The Nookie team were delighted to work with Glitter Gal for their 2010 RAFW show, Nikita explained “It’s so exciting to be joining forces with Glitter Gal and to have our very own polish created for us, NOOKIE METALLIC – WOW! When the opportunity came up, I jumped at the chance to work with a reputable brand where the colour of the nails worked back with my designs”.
Like always Glitter Gal's polish in Nookie applied like a dream, really only needing 1 coat, its a pretty high shine metalic champagne colour which I totally adore!
