Do You Write Honest Reviews?

so ladies I need some advice, opinions etc anything with what I'm about to type.As bloggers we are sometimes sent free samples or even request free samples from some companies now I think that's perfectly fine cause I personally have accepted samples and even requested samples on many occasions, some being fantastic products and others not being so great, and sometimes I have reviewed them on this blog and  other times I have not.But what happens when you don't like something and you give it a more negative than positive review, whether its been sent to you by request or simply by the company offering and than the company lashes out at you? Do you think this is fair as bloggers should we keep our negative opinions to ourselves if the product has not been purchased with our money, or should we give it a 100percent positive review cause the product has been sent for free?I recently received some really negative feedback from a company after writing a review they didn't agree with, I was accused of 'backstabbing', recommending bad products, lying, having a blog with diminishing popularity, dishonest and the best one of all the company telling me 'Now they know why I'm not famous yet'! I coped that all in one email over one negative review.Ladies, followers I don't blog to be famous or to get rich,or to be popular I blog because I enjoy it,because its something I have a passion for, and having followers and ladies to talk to is a fantastic bonus which I also love. And every opinion I ever write on this blog is always going to be my OWN personal opinion I'm not about to lie to my readers or myself for some company that sent me something for free.So what do you think ladies should we keep our mouths shut or should we write what we honestly think of the product regardless of it being sent for free?

My Spring It,My honest Review

Hi Ladies
So Rachel over at gave me the opportunity to review one of her My spring it's after I emailed her asking if I could have a sample .I'm going to be completely honest and let you ladies know what I think, just because it was free I'm not going to beat around the bush and give you a 'OMG ITS SO GREAT REVIEW' I'm going to be honest, cause face it honesty is the best policy!

So what is it you ask? Well basically its a spring with two little twisty handles on either side which allow you to control the spring to pull out all those hairs.Think of 'threading' but with a spring.I did try the spring it quite a few times and it definitely ripped out my hairs but with extreme pain, although I do like the concept of the spring it I think ill stick with waxing, spring it is more of a  slower process where as waxing is just wham bam thank you ma mam! Also another negative is the price at $15.99 USD that seems a little to much for something so simple,I also did my research and found exactly the same thing on eBay for $8.00 AUD including shipping but not for just one but for a total of 5 that's less than half price and your getting more for your money.
Overall the 'My Spring it' is great for getting rid of those hairs if you have a amazing tolerance for pain, and wish to pay a hell of a lot more for something you could find for cheaper on eBay with the same qualities. And I would like to thank Rachel for sending me the Spring it free of charge.

So ladies have any of you tried these springy hair removal things?
Would you be game enough to give one a go?

Liz Earle Mineral Sun Cream Perfect for those hot summer days!

Hello my pretty ladies

As you all know im totally in LOVE with Liz Earle's Skin Care range so I thought I would do a little review on there New Mineral Sun Cream with SPF20. We all know how extremelly white I am so a sunscreen is a must when I go outside because I turn completely red and my face ends up looking like a perfect game of connect the dots(freckles grrr) sunburnt skin is not something I look foward to so having a great sunscreen is just what I need!Specially in Australia where majority of the time the sun is beaming.

Liz Earle's Mineral Sun Cream is extremelly light and dosnt have that really thick feeling that most sunscreens have, and it deffinately does not have that awful scent that ive come across in the past. Its packed full of shea butter, potent natural antioxidants pomegranate, green tea and vitamin E all in a sun screen, so your getting protection from the sun plus your skins being moisturized is that a bonus or what!

The mineral sun cream is great for the whole family including the ladies with sensitive skin, cause the cream is so light it wont break you out,you dont even notice you have it on.

" Our new, reformulated mineral sun cream works by bouncing the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays away from the skin, offering immediate SPF20 protection in a new, easy to apply formula."
Liz Earle

So ladies is sunscreen apart of your daily routine?

As the Aussie's say "Dont forgot to SLIP,SLOP & SLAP"
"slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen, and slap on a hat"

Glitter gal Nookie & Your Chance to win your own bottle!/CLOSED

On Wednesday May 5, 2010 Rosemount Australian Fashion Week saw Glitter Gal, collaborate with one of Australia’s most iconic fashion brands Nookie, where designer Nikita Sernack presented her Spring Summer 2010/2011 collection.

Working closely with Nikita, Anna Szabo and Kerry Howell, owners of Glitter Gal produced from their salon range, a limited edition colour named ‘NOOKIE METTALLIC’.

Anna Szabo of Glitter Gal says: “Having a custom blend nail polish shows true fashion innovation that extends to the finger tips and toes. Nail polish bridges the divide between fashion and beauty to the extent that careful consideration is given to what the colour of the nails should be for fashion shows – we believe that it is as important as making the decisions for hair and make up looks”.

The Nookie team were delighted to work with Glitter Gal for their 2010 RAFW show, Nikita explained “It’s so exciting to be joining forces with Glitter Gal and to have our very own polish created for us, NOOKIE METALLIC – WOW! When the opportunity came up, I jumped at the chance to work with a reputable brand where the colour of the nails worked back with my designs”.

Hi ladies just thought I Would let you know that American Apparel have added 6 new colours to there nail polish collection how exciting!

"The colors continue the theme of representing the brand and the culture which surrounds it. Other colors like "Summer Peach" and "Butter" are now also an available option for some of the company's classic garments, including the Pique Tennis Shirt, 4-Way Stretch Side Zipper Pants and Dov's Hoody. 9.Carmex oh Carmex where would I be without you,you have saved my lips from burning chapped lip pain a billion times I love this stuff its great for using before you put on lipstick as a kind of primer but its even better for when you just think your about to get chapped lips, whack some of this on and ull be fine in a fiew hours seriously it works wonders great for winter which is coming up

10.MAC Lipsticks in Cute-ster its a mix between a peachy/pink nude and its a lustre so it gives off that glossy affect,Viva Glam GAGA need I say more the perfect pink and Hue the perfect everyday colour for alot of skin tones
